This collection consists of the records that relate to Stanford Law School’s administration, programs, and awards that relate to graduation and commencement.

Although legal education has been a part of Stanford’s academic offering since 1893, it was not until 1966 that the Law School started to host a separate commencement ceremony. Previously, Law Students’ Commencement Ceremony was a part of the Stanford University's wide graduation ceremony.
