The Office of External Relations comprised the Alumni Relations and Development at Stanford Law School. An important objective of the Office of External Relations is to garner funding to build upon the school’s excellence. Unique among law schools for its balanced emphasis on both teaching and research, as well as incorporating practical learning in new, innovative, and intellectually stimulating ways, Stanford Law School requires significant resources beyond the budget funding provided by the university. It is the responsibility of the Office of External Relations to secure and steward those resources.
