Researching the Law in the United States for LLM Students

Course Reserves

Course reserves are located at the Loan Desk and can be checked out for two hours. Please ask staff at the loan desk for assistance. You may wish to use the book scanners in the second floor Teaming Room to scan relevant pages.

   

Study Aids

Eyles Aisle is located in the center of the second floor reading room. This aisle contains numerous study aids, including the Concise Hornbook Series, Nutshell Series, and Examples & Explanations. Please note that these materials are for in-library use only and cannot be checked out.

        

Law School Exams

Copies of past exams are available in our Digital Reserves. The exams are organized on this webpage by instructor and by course.

Reference Desk

If you have any questions about accessing databases or conducting research, the reference librarians are here to help! You can email us at reference@law.stanford.edu, or stop by the reference desk. The reference desk is open from 9 am - 6 pm on Monday through Thursday and 9 am - 5 pm on Friday during the academic year and is located on the first floor of the library.
