Lexis's Law Reviews and Journals collection provides full-text access to law review and law journal articles. Similar to Shepardizing a case to see which subsequent cases have cited to it, you can also Shepardize a journal article to discover what articles or cases have cited a particular article.
Step 1: Click on "Shepardize this document" in the right sidebar. (Note: If you don't see this option, make your browser window larger.)
Step 2: To view other articles that have cited the article, click on "Other Citing Sources." You can also check "Citing Decisions" to see if any cases have cited the article.
The Law Reviews & Journals collection on Lexis includes law scholarly publications and "contains both lengthy articles and shorter essays by professors and lawyers, as well as comments, notes, or developments in the law written by the students."
You can browse lists of the publications that are included in this collection by state or practice area. The following example is a partial list of law reviews and journals classified under California:
To view detailed coverage information about a publication, click on the (i) icon to the right of the title of the publication. A pop-up window with source information will contain information about dates of coverage as well as how often the periodical is published.
