National Conference of State Legislatures

The National Conference of State Legislatures is a rich source of 50-state surveys on various topics ranging from immigration to juvenile justice.

The bill tracking database includes comprehensive bill information from all 50 states.  The status of bills listed in these databases is updated every week.  You can search by subtopics, year, status (e.g., pending, enacted, to governor, etc.), or enter keywords to identify bills.
